Sri Lanka Vs England 3rd test match today. Captain Kumar Sangakkara

Sri Lanka Cricket Captain T.M. Dilshan got injured last time. So, SLC decided to make Kumar Sangakkara as the Captain of Sri Lanka Cricket Team. So, Kumar will lead Sri Lanka team in the 3rd test match against England today in Rose Bowl at Hampshire.

Police checked ICC World Cup Office at Colombo


Sri Lanka Police checked ICC World Cup Office which located in Metland Place at Colombo. Why Police check this office was,  Chief of  ICC World Cup office Mr. Suraj Dandeniya has complained that two hard disks have stolen by someone. Now Kuruduwatta Police has started the investigation. Mr. Suraj Dandeniya tald the they have another backup of  which lost hard disks have.

T.M. DILSHAN INJURED

Sri Lanka Cricket Captain Thilakarathne Dilshan got injured while he playing in first and second test matches against England at Loads. Injured his right hand thumb because of touching of the ball. So, He will not play for Sri Lanka in 3rd test match. He is the first Sri Lankan Cricket who take 193 run in the Lords ground in England. Because of this injury he did not play for second inning in the second test match. So Thilakarathne Dilshan will not play for the 3rd test match on 16 June. Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) will choose another player for the same test match.

Today is fifth day of Second test match between Sri Lanka Vs England. It will held of Lord Ground, England. England could get 149 for 2 wickets, ending of last day. Sri Lanka team got 479 for all in first inning. For the Sri Lanka team, Captain of Sri Lanka Cricket team Thilakarathne Dilshan played great inning by taking 193 runs. Also Tharanga Paranawithane got 65, Mahela Jayawardena got 49 runs. For the England team Steve Finnan got 7 wickets for 108 runs.

England 342 for 6 wickets

 
Sri Lanka Tour England 1st day of second test match started at Lords Ground yesterday and Sri Lanka Captain T.M. Dilshan won the toss. But he choose to field first. End of the day England could get 342 for 6 wickets and Alastair Cook done great innings by taking 96 run for England Team. Cook and Ian Bell shared the first of two century stands, Eoin Morgan and Matt Prior combining for the other. Their efforts helped England to close on 342 for six from the 88 overs Sri Lanka managed.
For the Sri Lankan team Suranga Lakmal done his best by taking 3 wickets for  79 runs. Chanaka Welagedara got 2 wicket for 65 runs and Dilhara Fernando got 1 wicket for 57 runs.
